Exchanges welcomed for other jewelry or store credit. Items need to be returned undamaged within 30 days of the date of purchase. Custom designed and made jewelry may not be returned. Opals are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase regarding crazing, but no guarantee is provided regarding breakage or cracking. Custom Work
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems, and labor furnished by Australian Opals for a specific client. As such, custom made jewelry cannot be returned for an exchange or store credit. Custom work requires a 50% deposit before the work begins.
Layaway Policy
Layaway payments are required at least every 30 days according to the duration and payment terms agreed upon. If no satisfactory arrangements have been made for full payment beyond the end of the agreed upon term, the item(s) will be returned to stock, and all payments will be forfeited.
Cancellation Fees
A 25% cancellation fee of the full purchase price will be withheld on any purchased custom work, special orders, repair intakes and/or appraisals if said item(s) is/are cancelled by the Customer within 72 hours following the date and time the ordered was placed. Following this 72 hour period, all deposits or payments will be kept by Australian Opals, and said items will only be provided to the Customer if full payment has been made. Forfeiture of said item(s) will occur if final payment, if applicable, is not made within 72 hours after Customer has been notified by Australian Opals that said item(s) is/are completed.
By submitting the website shopping cart purchase order, the Customer understands and agrees to applicable Terms & Conditions as may apply to her/his purchase.
